We received a warm welcome from the front office manager Cyril. Got a spacious, cosy room with view on the gardens as requested. The bathroom was perfectly clean, bathrobe and slippers provided, separate toilet - excellent! We had dinner in the bistro : simple, but tasty dishes. Extremely friendly service. We've walked to the center, a rather sporty exercise. A taxi could be recommended. Our car stayed inside the hotel area, in one of their car ports. We certainly intend to go back to La Pyramide and Vienne!
If anything, maybe the distance to the town center... although actually the hotel's location is an advantage for someone not familiar with Vienne.

The service staff was excellent and very attentive. The location was very convenient for our trips to Cote Rotie and Hermitage.
Overall, this hotel was not worth the Relais and Chateau rating. I've stayed at others and the rooms here really are nothing special. The reception design is very modern, appealing and updated, but the room design was very dated. The bed was very mediocre and uncomfortable. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. It looked like any other hotel bathroom, yet the tile in the shower/bath had mildew in places. Even worse, the hair dryer was basically the cheapest one I've ever seen. I had a better bathroom at the Mercure we stayed at later in our trip. All in all, the price was extremely expensive, and you don't really get anything for it. We had a meal at the mini restaurant- food was good, but service was very snobby and unattentive.

Elegant and comfortable accommodation
We were disappointed that the gastronomique restaurant was not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and we were not informed, even though we had asked for a dinner booking on either night. Dining in the two star restaurant had been the prime reason for booking this hotel.

The location was satisfactory, in a pleasant and quiet part of town, with a 20, minute walk to the town center. the hotel had top, class service at all stages, from reception to room service to the restaurant. the rooms were stunning and possibly the best we have ever encountered. the hotel was well located for both passing through and staying a few days, with easy access to Vienne and the great wines of Cote Rotie. Good parking was available on site.
The lack of a kettle or tea/coffee, making facilities in the room was a minor inconvenience.

I liked wonderfully appointed and fashionable rooms with a perfectly working air condition. The location was peaceful and marvellous, for example, Jardin de Ville Garden was not too far from the hotel.
Some of the staff were relaxed.

The rooms were comfy AF and the bathrooms were lit with fancy showers and plush towels. The reception staff were surprisingly cool, and there's even a sick garden where we kicked it with drinks. The food at the brasserie was bomb, but the Michelin Star restaurant was next level, fam.
Only thing we wished for was a more lit party scene for us young peeps.

A super luxury hotel that I would recommend to anyone. It has a bistro restaurant besides the gourmet restaurant at acceptable prices. The breakfast is 22 euros and seemed rather expensive. Gardens charming. Private free parking which is a plus. Staff went out of their way to assist us with any questions we might have had.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good
Just about everything else. The staff seemed to exist only to push the gourmet restaurant attached to it. We were asked just about every time we passed by the front desk whether we'd like to book a reservation at the restaurant. The hotel is in an ugly location of a very mediocre and not very picturesque town. i wouldn't recommend it

Based on price paid, breakfast should have been included. As a 4star I believe tea and coffee facilities should be provided in room.

Excellent evening meal. We thoroughly enjoyed this part of our stay at La Pyramide. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent; thoughtful and considerate.
The breakfast service was rather haphazard in comparison to the wonderful service of the previous evening. For example we needed to ask for clean cutlery and plates to eat the fruit we requested after eating egg and crepe. As we were the last guests to appear for breakfast, although 45 minutes before the end of service, we were also surrounded by empty tables covered in used crockery.
